Curator's note: This poster captures the moment of the signing of the treaty of peace between Israel and Jordan in 1994Included in the image are: then-President Bill Clinton; then-Prime Minister of Israel Yitzak Rabin; King Hussein of Jordan and; Warren Christopher, then-US Secretary of State.Also pictured are Abdelsalam al-Majali then-Prime Minister of Jordan and, standing between Christopher and Hussein, then-President of Israel, Ezer Weizman.This signing took place in the Arava valley in Israel, north of Eilat and close to the Jordanian border.
