Exterminate Rats

Following the outbreak of the disease, the authorities began an operation to hunt rats and mice. However, the director of the health department in Israel, Colonel George Wickham Heron, was not satisfied with that. On July 25, he demanded from the director of the health department in Jaffa to work for the closing of the garbage in metal bins that would prevent food from the rats and mice
