Dear Maryann,
So nice to hear from you and thanks for the words of encouragement.
I understand a little better now: All the posters at this link your work, mazboot?
https://www.maryannjaraisy.com/graphic-art-1
If yes, PPPA already has three of them up (there may be others) but all are unidentified cuz we did not see any credit/signature/mongraph on any of them:

https://www.palestineposterproject.org/posters/celebrating-global-queer-realities
(I.LOVE.THIS.ONE.)
https://www.palestineposterproject.org/posters/athens-palestine-film-festival-2022
We often write to publishers asking them to identify the poster artists and many do write back but not all. I had just added the Athens Film Festival 2022 this week and wrote to them but have not received any reply as of today.
And yes, akeed, if you have other/older/any Palestine related posters and wish to see them up at PPPA do send them in. We prefer low resolution JPEGS about 400k is ideal. Dates, translations, publisher's info always appreciated.
Last night PPPA reached 23,000 posters...no end in sight!
Standing With Gaza,
Dan

A revolution which does not aim at changing me by changing the relations between people does not interest me; what is more, I doubt whether a revolution which does not affect me enough to transform me is really a revolution at all. The Palestinian revolution has established new kinds of relations which have changed me, and in this sense the Palestinian revolution is my revolution.

Dear Dan,
Thank you for your quick reply, and yes all the posters at the link are mine. How did you find me?
I am very very happy to discover your website, it is such an inspiration and a lot of work dedicated.
Attached is a folder of some posters I made from 1997 till more recents. Some are posters, some are different designs for different Palestinian foundations/associations/conservatoriums/children festivals.
I will also attach a better version of the Queer Cinema for Palestine which you like as well.
Hope you can find use in them.
Are you a Palestinian yourself? I figured from the word Mazboot :)
Wish you a wonderful week
And A Free Palestine soon Inshallah.

Dear Dan,
Thank you for reaching out, I am honored to be a part of this archive. It is a great initiative and important to preserve our art and culture. I have been a designer in Palestine and worked for Nazareth cultural center and have a lot of posters and designes from the years 90’s and early 2000
If you are interested I can send you.
I have visited the website but did not find my name nor poster, can you please send me a link ?
Power and Resistance,

Have added this page to a list of great Palestine poster pages...IMO it would be much more useful to activists if the images could be easily downloaded and if they had credits for the artists. Standing With Gaza, Dan Walsh/PPPA

OK....I.LOVE.THIS.POSTER.
https://www.palestineposterproject.org/posters/ahlam-dreams
I wish I could have attended that play. Just looking at the graphic makes me feel like a kid again (My daughter and granddaughters say I never really grew up and feel like they have to monitor me in public cuz "He's very silly". True, I confess. GREAT poster.
So...you sent me a lot of posters and taba'an they will all go up at PPPA.
Before I jump into all that work please look over the Dreams page, read all the metadata/links/spelling etc, for any errors or even just edits you would like to see. Think of PPPA as yours...which it is. Once you are happy with this page then I can clone it for all the others and just change dates, titles, translations. Makes it much smoother for me.
Also, I am assuming you are Palestinian and have placed your works in the Palestinian wellspring but if that will make security/safety issues for you I can change it. You decide...they are your posters and your pages.

Dan

Rafiqi Al Irelandi Al Majnoon,
Shukran jazzelan.
I just love reading your mails, you’re very funny. And it makes me really enthusiastic and happy to realize that people like yourself do exist.
I Am Palestinian indeed! My mom is Dutch and she lives in Nazareth/Palestine with my Palestinian dad. I grew up in Palestine, but after my divorce I moved to Amsterdam 2016.
My name.. well it’s a combination of my Palestinian grandmother Mary and my dutch granny Anne. My mom thought it was a good idea, I had to live with the consequences.. at school in Palestine I was only Mary, in high school I was Maryan, and now I am back to original Mary Ann. A tough name that is foreign to Pal. I didn’t like it then, now I’m learning to accept it and connect to my grandmothers.
My Father descends from a long lineage of Greek Orthodox priests from Cana of Galilee, fathers and sons serving the church. The church still exists and is beautiful . Even though religion is not quite my cup of tea.
The Metadata/spelling and everything is correct. What is the Palestinian wellspring?
Thank you again for this incredible work.
I was in Irland last summer with my partner, there was no other place in the world that I wanted to visit. and we travelled the south with a car it was so nice, and the people are just gorgeous. Palestinian flags hanging everywhere.
That’s me in Killarney N. Park
Next time I would love to meet with you.
LONG LIVE GAZA,
Mary Ann
