Translation / Interpretation / Caption Text / Source
This poster advocates segregated bus lines on supposedly religious grounds. The main caption reads: "Mixed weddings no, but mixed transportation yes?" The sax-playing serpent on top of the bus is part of "Satan's Orchestra." And way in the back is a "Frank," a non-Ashkenazic Jew who "knows his place." (There's lots more to describe, actually.)
I hold with Rabbi Moshe Feinstein's ruling regarding mixed-gender public transportation: that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and if someone believes that he could be affected negatively by it, then he should stay home.Source: Rahel Jaskow Flickr site
