Curator's note:This poster is a collage combining a photo from a 1948 archive and a drawing by Nour Banat, a preschooler then at Ghassan Kanafani Social and Cultural Center in Mar Elias refugee camp near Beirut.
This poster was used for a commemorative event at the Madina Theater in Beirut marking the 50th anniversary of the Nakba.
