Dear Richard,
Brilliant campaign! I have built a new Special Collection for AAA at the PPPA:
http://www.palestineposterproject.org/special-collection/ads-against-apa...
I will put all the AAA ads up and send you a note when it is done. Will also include your link.
Q: Can you tell me who designed the posters?
Q: Can we get five copies of all the AAA posters? We ask because we get them placed in prestigious institutions such as the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, Georgetown University, Columbia University, UCLA, the British Museum and a host of others. We are happy to pay postage.
Q: How many different campaigns/posters has AAA done? We ask so we can break them out in the PPPA and also to make sure we include everything.
mad respect,
Dan Walsh

Hi Dan,
Thank you so much for including our Boston MBTA ads in your project! As the graphics production person for AAA I noticed that one of our early drafts seems to have slipped into the collection. The poster for Violence that appears on your website has a typo that was later corrected. Please consider swapping in this revised item in if you get a chance. Thanks!

Dan,
Yes, sorry, I meant to send a jpeg. Attached.
The designs are by Chadi Salamoun and myself, but the concepts are Rick's (Colbath-Hess).
Getting you prints of the posters is possible, although the actual size of the installed signs in Boston is 60 inches by 48 inches. I will see whether we have the budget to output another set right now (they seem to run about $50/poster). Maybe smaller versions could be adequate for your collection, but the impact of the big signs is lost.
Currently the three ads in Boston are the only finalized work for AAA. There are several other sketches (see Modoweiss), and another campaign is being planned and fundraised for the fall.
Regards and thanks!

Brother Paul,
OK...by the numbers:
1) http://www.palestineposterproject.org/poster/ads-against-apartheid-violence
I swapped out your jpegs
2) Please DO NOT incur any expenses to give us copies of the ads. If the MBTA gives you back the copies of the ads that are currently up those would be fine but maybe they don't do that?
Let's discuss but let's not spend. Palestine solidarity is a shoe-string thing, right? Also the PPPA is an archives and we are more or less observers of the Palestine poster scene and we only want copies if available...we don't want copies ever to be printed for us.
3) I will list all three names if that is ok with you. Our public does not care who did what...they just want to see the creative person/team get credit.
You and your comrades good with this? I assume you will send this around to your peeps.
