This poster is of historical interest, since it hints at the problems facing British Jewry in the early 30's. While anti-semitism was more virulent on the continent of Europe, England also suffered from the plague; and we can surmise from the special invitation to "young men and women" that English Jewry had problems attracting the young to their synagogues even then. The poster, backed onto linen, is in surprisingly good condition although there are problems.
