Dov Ber Borochov (1881–1917), the namesake of the Borochov youth movement, espoused an ideology that was both Marxist and Zionist. He was one of the founders of Poalei Zion, the Labor Zionist movement. Unlike many other Zionists, who embraced Hebrew as the language of the nascent movement, Borochov and many of his followers preferred the use of Yiddish on ideological grounds

Sale 2134 Lot 44 ANONYMOUS [FIGHT TO FREE ISRAEL.] 1946. 26x21 inches. Klischeefabrik Osiris, Munich. Condition B+: minor restoration and discoloration along vertical and horizontal folds; repaired tear through bottom margin. NOTE: This poster is in Yiddish, but my father was able to translate most of it based on his knowledge of German, but a few words were unclear.
