Poster was produced in the late 70's- early 80's as a protest statement by
Radio Onda Rossa (Radio Red Wave) which was the propaganda apparat of the
Autonomie Operaio Party ( the Worker's Autonomy Party, an anarcho-nihilist
branch of the Communist party). I was a part of the broadcast crew for this
station, and saved one example of this poster which I just gave to a
Palestinian friend. These were printed as a broadsheet to poster the City of
Rome with when we were highlighting the struggle of the Palestinian people.
Often this was done when we scheduled an interview with freedom fighters
considered too extreme for mainstream media. The example that I just gave
away was from a 1981 street protest in Rome led by three Black September
members.
