Lithographic printing "Lito. Koffman and Co.". Tel-Aviv, [1948]. A poster on behalf of Tel-Aviv municipality announcing the collection of a special tax for public bomb shelters and defense services. An illustration in color by Pesach Ir-Shay (1896-1968), a graphic designer, painter and Israeli typographer of Hungarian origin. Ir-Shay was one of the leading graphic designers in Israel. He designed posters for the state authorities and institutions, logos for various companies, advertisement and propaganda posters as well as the modern font "Chaim". 62X94 cm. Good condition, folding marks, creases, minor stains. Opening- $800
