The Israeli Army (Zahal) sponsored an evening concert called, “To Jerusalem from Zahal with Love and with Flowers”. The program was held in the beautiful setting of the Sultan’s Pool, a park just below the western wall of the Old City of Jerusalem. The image on the poster advertising this 1980 event is a magnificent view of the illumined Old City Wall, as seen from east to west, with fireworks in the sky above. The poster is backed onto linen and is in good condition, with some surface scuffing evident on the blue background and traces of faint staining derived from tape that was removed from the back.
