ya ustaza,

I think you are on vacation so this is just a placeholder email...

Should we just accept the posters or tell her about the gifting/Lauinger option?

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your response.  We actually met long ago, via mutual Georgetown University and MERIP friends.

Attached are informal photos of my Dar al Fata al Arabi posters - unframed as mentioned, and in excellent to perfect shape.  I have duplicates of 2 of the Helmi Eltouni posters.  I purchased a couple of sets from Dar al Fata in the '80s, and these are the ones I haven't given away over the years.

I'd like to donate them where they will be used best or sell them if there's a market, to raise funds for humanitarian or cultural work in Palestine.

All best,

Nina Dodge

Hello Friends,

I have 11 children's posters - largely if not all by Palestinian artists -
that I'd like to find a home for.  Some have specific Palestinian
iconography, others are charming images for children.

They're in perfect shape, unframed - all published in Cairo by the children's
publishing house Dar Al-Fata al Arabi in the 1980s (I can't remember exactly
when they were purchased).  I don't know if any are collectors' items, but
I'd like to give them away where they'll be most appreciated. I can send you
photos if you'd like.

Thanks,
N. Dodge
