Jewish Palestine Pavilion - New York World Fair - 1939

Translation / Interpretation / Caption Text / Source
From Wikipedia: The Jewish Palestine Pavilion introduced the world to the concept of a modern Jewish state, which a decade later would become Israel. The pavilion featured on its façade a monumental hammered copper relief sculpture entitled The Scholar, The Laborer, and the Toiler of the Soil by the noted Art Deco sculptor Maurice Ascalon.
