In the English-language version of the Hill poster (in which his signature appears in the lower-left corner), the up-top text names the line's two primary vessels. And though it's the Mount Carmel that's angularly recreated in the design, it was her sister ship, the Mount Zion, which receives nothing but a textual message that had the more storied career. Completed in June in 1907 and originally christened the St. Jan for a Danish firm, she was sold in 1913 to a Dutch company and renamed Nickerie. They in turn resold her to a Genoa-based concern that once more renamed the ship Risveglio. At long last, she was purchased by PML in 1935 and dubbed Har Zion.
