Journey to an Arab village, by Miriam Halperin. Jerusalem, 1947-48.
Self-published booklet with 13 prints (mounted on the booklet's leaves), portraying scenes of a visit to an Arab village. Among the scenes: an Arab sitting facing the village, coffee making, still life, etc.
Painter Miriam Halperin was born in 1921. After the Holocaust she made Aliya to Eretz Israel from Romania. Studied art in the Avni Institute in Tel-Aviv and continued her advanced studies with Dov Feigin and Mokady.
[14] pp, average size of print: 7X7 cm, height: 14 cm. Good condition, minor spots.
