Dear Dan Okay, I'm glad to give you first results of our search for Palestine posters in the different collections of political posters in our archive which are still not registered. Sometimes, it's not so bad to get an approach from outside to take care of things always postponed. 1. We have found a portfolio with 35 Palestine posters of your collection. There are all photographed but yet not catalogued. It seems that you have trade them with Felix some years ago. I have not been involved and I had no idea of this collection. Alessia will take care of the posters and she will try to catalogue them during the next month - as far as the daily bussiness makes it possible. We will let you know when they are online. If you like we can send you the small photos of the posters...Please let us know! 2. In the collection of the Italian political posters there are 5 Palestine posters. One poster from "Lotta Continua" is a duplicate and I can put it beside for you. Unfortunately, there is no poster from Elisabetta Carboni as duplicate. I have remembered and checked now that I already have trade some duplicates of this collection with the CSPG, among them also the Carboni-poster. However, it was not a Palestine poster. I'm sorry... 3. Finally, we have gone through the huge Margadant collection still not catalogeud and we really have found some other 38 Palestine posters. All the Palestine posters already online on our site are also from the Margadant collection. 4. 4 other Palestine posters of our collection are catalogued on file cards but not in an electronical way. I hope I also can catalogue these posters (2,3,4) during the next month so we have all our Palestine posters online at the end of 2010! Perhaps, we can send you images of them earlier but also concerning our photograph work we have too much other things to photograph first. We will see! In any case: if you will come this year to Zurich we will be able to show you all the posters! And it would be nice to meet you!! all the best, Bettina

When I saw your email I immediately opened it and tried to find the posters you listed. I hope you won't be upset with me ... but I can't figure out how to actually see the posters. I tried putting the numbers you sent into the search window but that gives me a message of: Suche nach '84-0254': Objekte: 0 Treffer Personen/Institutionen: 0 Treffer Ausstellungen: 0 Treffer Dokumente MIZ-Archiv: 0 Treffer Projekte: 0 Treffer Can you send me either some instructions or just the actual URL's of the posters. I am VERY excited to see what you have put up. I am across the table from Giovanna Magnoli, the Italian woman who interprets/corresponds for me with Bruno Margadant...she is in the US on vacation and we are hosting her for a few days. She does incredible solidarity work for the PPPA and we are so glad to be able to repay her in some small way. best, Dan On Aug 13, 2010, at 10:06 AM, wrote: Dear Dan under the following numbers you can find the new Palestine posters form the Margadant collection I now have integrate in our online database: 31-0637 31-0638 31-0647 32-0578 59-1639 83-0591 83-1378 83-1380 bis 83-1415 84-0254 84-0255 G-2376 From number 84-0254 and 83-0591 (however a reprint!)
