thanks for the link. Yes, I love this piece of work.
I don't know when this poster was made but the painting was created 1976 (in a hotel in former East Berlin) during the days and weeks when Tal Al-Zatar refugee camp was sieged during the war in Beirut. My father got stuck in Berlin and wasn't able to fly back to Beirut as the airport was under continuous bombing. The sereis of his Tal Alzatar water color was created there.
In the link it says "Year: Circa 1982". It might be correct if it refers to the poster only.
By the way if it interests you, this is the link to the trailer of a short film (24 minutes) which was made lately about a day in his early life as a young man and a refugee in Gaza.
