My destiny 2016
It was a collaborated with a group of artist friends from Berlin on this art piece which we glued on Berlin's wall, and all over the city. Adding our names to the thousands of other fellow artists who had their stories told on the walls of Berlin.
Mirage 2018
My participation with #WeltformatDXB's Exhibition 'Delusions and Errors' which took place in Dubai - UAE.
The poster was inspired by a verse from the late Mahmoud Darwish's famous poem, 'The Dice Player.' The verse talks about hope in the form of mirage to someone who is traveling through the desert looking for water. If it weren't for the illusion, the traveler wouldn't have been able to make it through the hot desert. It describes his journey in the most concise but yet sophisticated way. This idea is one of my most favorite. If it weren’t for hope, and only for hope, we wouldn't have been able to make it this far.
