JOIN THE NAVY
The navy was an important British military arm, the pride of the Empire in the days when Britannia ruled the waves. The Jewish community in the Land of Israel was urged to mobilize volunteers for the Royal Navy during World War II. The Jewish recruits served in various naval functions - gunnery, ships' crews, and logistical units. (1940s)
