The word Kushi is a pejorative for black people. It does not have the same deep historical association as the word nigger does because of the different historical context the word developed in. I chose to use the word nigger because I thought it most closely conveyed the racist sentiment of the poster. Also from watching American movies with Hebrew subtitles I know that that's the closest translation.

Rochelle Davis suggested I write to you about the PPPA's need for a Hebrew-fluent volunteer to translate the Israeli posters at the PPPA web site.

Got any ideas?
