Subject: Palestine Poster Project Archive -- request for reprint
Dear Professor Tripp,
I am Dan Walsh's MA advisor and a PPPA board member and he asked that I follow up with you on this request.
Dan is the owner/archivist of the PPPA.
You are welcome to capture and reprint the poster (he thinks you want this one:
http://www.palestineposterproject.org/poster/one-people-one-path).
He asks that credit be given to the artist and to the Palestine Poster Project Archive (http://www.palestineposterproject.org).
If you need a higher resolution image (which you likely do), Dan asks that there be some small compensation for his
time in finding or photographing the image. He asks that people send that compensation to either his partner organization
in Ramallah or a charity of his choice.
If this seems agreeable to you, let us both know, and he'll pass along the details.
And, on a personal note, I've very excited by your new book. Great topic and more of your meticulous scholarship
is always welcome.
Warmest regards,
Rochelle Davis

I am in the process of completing the manuscript of a book entitled 'The Politics of Resistance in the Middle East' to be published by Cambridge University Press in 2012. One of the chapters focuses on Art and Resistance and, as an illustration of a point being made in the text, I would very much like to reproduce the poster by Ismail Shammout designed for the PLO in c. 1982 entitled 'One People, One Path'. I am writing to you to enquire whether this would be possible and, if so, what your terms and conditions would be.
I look forward to hearing from you.
All best wishes,
Charles Tripp
