I hope your knee is healing well. Thanks for your note...are these the posters you are talking about? The Archives does not have ANY of these posters...just jpegs... IF you would like to donate them ... we would love to have them in the permanent Palestine Poster Project Archives. I am not asking you to give them to us because they may have important emotional and personal value to you. But it you think they are important pieces of Palestinian history and you are looking for a place where they will be protected and preserved, the PPPA is that place. As for your other works, ANY poster done by ANY Palestinian artists is a Palestine poster to us. Read the "About" section at the top of the PPPA website to see our definition. We think it is VERY important to show the world that Palestinian artists do not merely produce posters about Palestine or revolution. Your Ravi Shankar and other posters, if you have copies you wish to share, would be very valuable additions to the PPPA and I would add them to the PPPA as soon as they arrived. In fact, if you have a hi res jpeg available (at least 1 MB) I would add them to the site immediately. Since we last communicate in December the number of Palestine posters at the site has risen to more than 1, 600 and the number of artists featured is now more than 500. There are also more than 160 Special Collections. The PPPA is getting better known by the day and one Palestinian artists wrote recently to say he considers the PPPA to be "a Palestinian national heritage site". This touched me deeply. Do you know Hosni Radwan? His is the latest Special Collection to be created. Maybe you know his work: http://www.palestineposterproject.org/category/special-collection/hosni-... I look forward to hearing from you. Take good care of yourself. in solidarity with Gaza, al akh, Dan On Jan 24, 2010, at 2:26 AM, Nadir Tharani wrote: dear don apologies for the delay but doing too many things and sorting out many mishaps and slowed down by sprained knee (tennis). i have checked my storage and i have (edges torn ) poster by faustino perez and lazaro abreu (1983) both of which are on your web site. so i dont have anything that you have. you mentioned below posters from my website - do you mean any of the posters or only the palestinian one? the posters on my website include commercial ones - ravi shankar concert, west london tec. i know i only have one copy of the epra poster. when are u having an exhibition? let me know. regards, nadir On Dec 1, 2009, at 3:33 AM, Dan Walsh wrote: I want to invite you to visit my site again...it now has 1, 350 poster, almost 70 Special Collections and I still have more than 2,000 Palestine posters to add! check it out: www.palestineposterproject.org I also wanted to ask you if you had any extra copies of the posters you feature at your website? If you do, I would be very happy to make them part of the permanent archives. Your work is excellent and it deserves to be preserved and appreciated. in solidarity, Dan
