Tourism poster issued by the French railway known as P.L.M. (Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris a Lyon et a la Mediterranee) promoting travel to Palestine.

The primary illustration is of a road leading to the city gates of Jerusalem with a figure walking and a figure on a donkey.  The inset reads "Bethleem" and itself contains an image of a man and a camel; and a man on a donkey with a view towards the city.

In the lower left corner is the decorative accent that reads: Affiches Simili-Aquarelle / Ateliers F.Hugo D'Alesi / 5, Place Pigalle, Paris which is the workshop of the artist of the same name.  In the lower right corner, is printed the signature of the poster artist, Louis Guerry, Annecy 1898 - a commune in south-eastern France.

No noticeable tears, folds, or stains.  In beautiful condition.  Currently framed but will be sold without the frame and glass.  It will be shipped insured in a protective tube.
