I am confused... Inbox X Reply Dan Walsh to Yoram show details 1:43 PM (21 minutes ago) Yoram, You said this was NOT a Shamir Bros. poster in an earlier email today... BUT...the credit at the bottom of the graphic you sent me says "Shamir Bros." ??? Are you saying the book/source is incorrect? Dan On Wed, May 25, 2011 at 1:31 PM, Yoram E. This was an error and not the only error in this catalogue. The Levant Fair was opened on April 26. My uncle, Maxim Shamir, immigrated to Palestine in October of that year (My parents – in May 1935). There is no signature. I don't think that the Levant Fair ordered the design of the poster at Sheftelowich Brothers Studio, Riga, Latvia. If you ever find/have better jpegs I will swap them out immediately. I consider a poor jpeg (temporarily posted) as better than nothing, especially for researchers, scholars, et. al. Dan
