according to the PA's new electoral law in 2006, each party had to run women
on their electoral lists. and here, responding to the increased conservativism,
they didn't want to show their women. rather amazing.
i didn't think PLF was so conservative.
odd also are a couple of their names -- al-Jolani, from the Golan Heights
and Shibli who are from Arab al-Shibli near Nazareth inside Israel.
not sure what is going on in all of this.
