Rabin was disparaged by right-wing conservatives and Likud leaders who believed the Oslo peace process was an attempt to forfeit the occupied territories and surrender to Israel's enemies. The imagery seen here would have been perfectly at home in right-wing rallies of the time; depictions of Rabin in a Nazi SS uniform or in the crosshairs of a gun were proliferated.
