to me
Dear Dan,
Many thanks for this. The cover looks great. I have just scanned a copy of the book and this image (which I attach) may give a greater resolution.
Ganzeer is the pseudonym of the Egyptian artist Mohamed Fahmy (ganzeer means 'chain' and particularly in Egypt, I think, 'bicycle chain') He has a great website - http://www.ganzeer.com/ And this is the site with the original image that he allowed me to use for the cover of the book. I don't know whether the PPPA collects digital posters, but this was his original intention for the image and the explanation of the circumstances and reason is below (ironic in view of what has recently been happening in Egypt): http://www.ganzeer.com/post/61109263965/project-mad-graffiti-week-digita....
You could put in a link to my SOAS web page: http://www.soas.ac.uk/staff/staff36173.php and perhaps also to the Cambridge University Press website for the book itself: http://www.cambridge.org/us/knowledge/isbn/item6838416/?site_locale=en_US
Thanks so much for all your help and all best wishes,
Charles
