Hi Dan,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, it was me, I just used my personal email for the "contact" form on the PPPA website. How in the world did you even find it?
I teach Social Studies at Lincoln, and made the posters last year for a film screening at our school that I hosted with my friend and colleague, Ruqayya, who teaches Arabic. The film, "Radiance of Resistance", which I highly recommend if you haven't already seen it, was made by a friend of mine a couple of years earlier. I am really proud of him and wanted to support his art, as well as fiercely believe in its message, and in those two little girls. We were all (Jesse and Jesse, the guys who made the film) actually working on getting Ahed and Janna over to Portland with their uncle to come and meet the kids here, but as certain events unfolded last winter, that quickly became impossible.
I was (a little) alarmed to see my poster and my name on your website, especially with the political climate being what it is. However, after looking through your website and project, I am simply flattered. Its no big deal, really, I designed it on canva.com and then printed out a few hundred copies to put around the whole school to try and get kids to come. It was so heartwarming to see how many students showed up, and even stayed afterwards to engage with the two gentlemen who led the discussion; one was a professor, I believe, and the other a representative from the local chapter of Jewish Voices for Peace. The kids were so curious, so this year, I am incorporating this whole conversation one step further in my curriculum.
Thank you for noticing my poster. It looks really simple but it took a really long time to create, so it just means a lot to me that someone appreciated it. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on either email. My phone number is 541-908-3265.
In solidarity,
Sara Matano

Hello Sara,
I received an email today from you but my spam filters were all over it so I did not know if it was really you or spam.
Did you write to the PPPA today about your poster?

Hello Tasneem,
I am writing in the hope that you can forward this email to the person/party responsible for hosting this event at LHS in May 2018.
We would like to learn who the artist is and to get a better jpeg for our website and to list their url at the page we have created:

Many thanks to you.
