1) Were these prices for BUYING a poster or DESIGNING/CREATING a poster?

2) What was the value of LP 8000?

Maybe you don't know this...it is just for my own knowledge: Did the artists have to FIGHT to get paid from the various publishers or was payment immediate and without hassles?

This is a list of prices for designing various graphic works. The prices are minimum. A member of the Association of Graphic Artists could have charged more, but not less than the price ion the list. The idea was to
avoid unfair competition among members of the Association
.
The price of designing a poster was 8 Palestinian Lira (It is written here 8.000 PL). I think that 1 PL equaled 1 Pound Sterling, but am not certain.

I have vague memories of hearing at home complaints of my parents on their clients on the issue of payment.
