Artists' Statement: This is one of a series of three posters designed for the artist Yael Bartana. A documentation of Palestinian workers rebuilding a house in East Jerusalem that was destroyed by the Israeli authorities these posters function as a base for a future movie. They are propaganda created to serve and accompany the movie and also as a call for action. These portraits of the Palestinian workers are replacing the image of the early pre-independence Zionist settler.
