The artwork in question is by Starmanda Bullock.

She’s actually kind of hard to get a hold of. The best way is to go through the Howard University Art Department. (202) 806-7047

Hi, Phil
The guy who designed and built and moved the sculptures on the side of the GAC had a question about the attached piece. Wondering if you could help him out on the question below. He's cc'd here.
Thanks,
Mike

...just a note to put us in email contact and to reconfirm for you that I am ready/willing/able to consult with you regarding the QC sculptures. Hell, I even have some ideas.

On another matter, would you be so kind as to put me in touch with the artist who did this work which is hanging in the GAC gallery?

Thanks,

Dan

Subject: Question about your "Return To Beirut" series of posters...

Dear Starmanda,

My name is Dan Walsh and I am a graduate student at Georgetown. My masters thesis is dedicated to the Palestine poster and you can see more than 5,000 of them here:

http://www.palestineposterproject.org/

I recently saw a poster/print of yours at the Brentwood Arts Exchange where I learned that the "Return To Beirut" poster is part of a series. I have added one of your works to the PPPA site and I would like to create a new Special Collection for the entire series if you would like that.

http://www.palestineposterproject.org/poster/return-to-beirut-1

I would also like to invite you to write an Artists' Statement about the "Return To Beirut" series which I would post at every page in your Special Collection. I found the work fascinating and I'd like to know more about the subtext/context.

I would also add links to your website if you have one.

I hope this meets with your approval and I look forward to hearing back from you.

in soldiarity,

Dan
