The POSTER was published in ERETZ ISRAEL before its establishment as the INDEPENDENT STATE of ISRAEL and before its 1948 WAR of INDEPENDENCE . The POSTER advertises a HIGH QUALITY SHAVIVG STICK ( Shaving Soap ) of "SHERF" . The POSTER depicts the ILLUSTRATED IMAGE of a HANDSOME MAN shaving in front a mirror which nicely reflects his image .
