This mural is credited overall to a partnership among Bangkit/Arise, a project of Clarion Alley Mural Project and the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC).
It was painted in the fall of 2018. It honors the martyrs of the Great March of Return that was occurring at the time, marking the 70th anniversary of the Nakba. There are 199 names on the mural which were the number of Palestinian lives lost up until the time the mural was finished.
