"This poster was printed in Israel but was created by two Jewish professional graphic artists in England; it appears in this catalog because (as in Poster No. 213 of the brothers Shamir) it represents one of the efforts of the Eretz Israel Foundation Fund and thus the participation of Jews and non-Jews around the world in the creation of Israel. The Magen David drawn into the land by the plough and harrow symbolically represents the central idea that the EIFF promoted from its founding in 1920: the cultivation of the land."
