"Where? To the Countryside" - Poster issued by Settlement Dept. of the Jewish Agency
"vuhin? In dorf!", poster issued by the Jewish Agency – settlement dept. Jerusalem: Monsohn lithographic printing, [1950s]. Design: "A.David" – Itamar (Ismar) David. Yiddish. Color illustration: A new immigrant holding suitcases, headed to a village. An inscription :"wohin? In Dorf! [whereto? To the Village!]. It seems that the poster was printed during the 1950s, at a time when the state institutions encouraged people to move from the city to the countryside.
70X48 cm. Good condition. Folding marks. Professionally restored tears. Cloth backed for display and preservation.
