WIZO (The Women's International Zionist Organization) is known primarily as a charitable institution. However, in the 1948 election WIZO ran a slate of candidates for the Knesset. This rare and socially significant poster advertises the slate with the letter nun the WIZO election symbol. Shown within their symbol are images of women at work in their various occupations as examples of the theme at the top, Women in the city and in the village - your list. The designer was Krausz(?). The poster appears somewhat faded, but otherwise has no blemish.
