The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization that includes people of various faiths who are committed to social justice, peace and humanitarian service. Our work is based on the principles of the Religious Society of Friends, the belief in the worth of every person, and faith in the power of love to overcome violence and injustice.
Palestine Youth Program (PYP) was founded in 1995, both in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip aiming at providing technical assistance to NGOs leaders and the youth they serve from Gaza and WB. The PYP challenges the consequences of all forms of isolation and discrimination imposed on youth in the Palestinian territories, the program enabled youth to become proactive agents of social change by engaging them in the twin s processes of democratization and community development, through its support of several projects in Gaza and West Bank.
The Popular Achievement Program has been applied in the West Bank in 2002 and Gaza Strip in 2004, after learning of the successes of the program and its appliance indifferent communities in the world.
The program targeting youth between 14-17 year, aims at consolidating and sustaining the values of youth civic engagement and empowerment of youth to invent/generate creative spaces for democratic participation in order to achieve positive social transformation and sustainable development

Hi Dan,
A very late answer for this question...I am mostly in Bethlehem, but hope I'll travel around a little bit. Nothing reliable though, unfortunately I'm pretty cemented here since my research is city-specific. But feel free to hit me up if you have something that needs picking up.
Otherwise, I grabbed an extra copy of this poster from an AFSC event in Gaza from the summer (I'm attaching a very poorly taken picture of it). Should I keep it for you?

hey Ryvka,

If yes maybe you can collect but not carry? In other words maybe you can snag/acquire posters and then give them to Amer at Zan Studio (he is Our Man In Ramallah). He ships posters to me and this would obviate jeopardizing you at crossings.
I could even give you specific objectives. For example, I have been trying to get copies of these as well as the name of the artist for some time with no luck so far:

PS: in any event, please don't enhassle yourself over this. Just do it if you feel like it and if it is fun. OK?
