Collection of illustrated children's stories edited by Ya'akov Simon (Shimoni), who later was one of the founders of the Hagana Intelligence Corps and one of the first to serve in the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The stories describing the lives of new immigrants in Eretz Israel were intended to arouse Zionist feelings amongst German youngsters. With illustrations by Bernhard Gelbart.
Condition: Spine over taped by adhesive tape; some wear and rubbing to edges of cover; foxing stains throughout the book, some pages foxed more, some less.
